PARTS of the accident and emergency unit at Chesterfield Royal hospital could be up and running by this afternoon, following last night’s four hour blaze.
In a meeting this morning (June 26), hospital chiefs confirmed that the ward will be accepting patients brought by ambulance from 2pm this afternoon, although the rest of the A&E will be closed “for the forseeable future.”
